I was overjoyed when I came across the Callie Birth Flower Cross Bible Cover Carrying Case one day, scrolling through Instagram. I had been putting my bibles in my backpack, but since I purchased this case last year, I’ve been more organised, not only with storing my bibles and carrying them smoothly to church, but also being reminded/inspired to read my bible more.

I think bible reading can be quite difficult for us neurodivergent people. We don’t retain information as well as neurotypical people, and concentration can be very hard. Even stilling the mind in prayer and long prayer can be hard for us with Autism and ADHD. I have to remember that all of our spiritual journeys are different. No Christian is the same; we all have different Gifts from God and different life experiences and paths that shape us into who God sees us to be. Not comparing myself to other Christians has been hard, but luckily, I have some of the most supportive, loving Christians around me. Since joining my church (you can see my church here), I have grown more in my faith, thanks to the wonderful ladies in my life group and my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in my church. It took me some time to find the right church where I could thrive and grow. I desire to grow closer to God, but I do have to remind myself and push myself to read his word. I have found since buying my carry case, my eye is caught more and therefore I’m inspired to pull out my bible more to read. So many people have stopped to ask me where my case is from, and many people I know have purchased them as gifts for friends and loved ones.

The Callie Birth Flower Cross Bible Cover Carrying Case retails for £31 and comes in the choice of 3 shades: teal blue, a medium-dark grey and baby pink. Of course, I chose baby pink because it’s my favourite colour. The cases are customisable; you choose your birth month for your unique flower, and you can also put your name on the case. I love that September’s flower is Aster, which is also pink. Callie also has a ‘God Says I Am Redeemed Loved’ Portable Bible Storage Bag, which I will order for my daughter to house her ESV Holy Bible for Kids. Shipping takes around 1-2 weeks.
As shown in the video, it has two large compartments with elasticated bands to secure your bible in place. It also has additional sleeves for notebooks, leaflets, pens and anything else you need for bible study. Right now, my case carries either my NIV Life Application Study Bible or my main reading KJV Giant Print Holy Bible, a notebook for initial jotting, my church’s Discipleship Foundation Course Booklet, a couple of pens and index marker stickers (all my fav’s can be found on my Amazon storefront). The Discipleship Foundation course is being taught by the lovely Gerry Beves. I hope to pick up his book ‘A Sure Foundation‘ at the end of the month. I hope to have a better understanding of my faith and discipleship from this course. So far, I am loving it. I thrive in small group learning environments.

Will you be picking one up for yourself or a loved one? Callie has many wonderful faith-based gifts, be sure to check them out.
