My Top 5 Pink Blushers for Summer – Liquids & Creams

I can live without using a powdered blush, but I cannot live without using a cream or liquid blush. I decided to share my go-to pink blushers, which I will be using this summer. Pink has become my go-to shade over this past year. I just feel that as I get older, pink is more youthful-looking. Plus, liquid and cream formulations tend to be more flattering on mature skin. I will do a follow-up post with my favourite pink powdered blushers.

Since falling in love with my Hourglass Sublime Flush powdered blush last year, I’ve found myself gravitating towards pink blush more frequently. Something about a nice pop of pink feels youthful and fun. Previous years’ cream blush formulas were my go-to, but recently I find myself reaching for liquids first. There are so many great liquid formulations on the market now, and I still have so many formulations on my wish list I want to try out. I will share my cream and liquid wish list at the end of this post. I will share each product as I have in my TikTok video, going by texture and finish.

Swatch Huda Beauty Strawberry Cream Blush Filter

The most unusual texture of them all, we are starting with the Huda Beauty Blush Filter Liquid Blush£24 in the shade Strawberry Cream. Cotton Candy is my go-to shade all year round, and I often mix it in with SC, but as I am starting to get a little more tan, Strawberry Cream is the perfect mid-toned, bright pink for summertime. The Blush Filters have a light, almost moussey texture, a matte finish and a super-fast dry down. Once they set, they stay put all day and give a soft blur to the cheeks. Honestly, this formulation is so flattering and forgiving, especially if you have any skin texture or have mature skin. Its longevity allows the blush to last all day and looks flawless. I do hope Huda creates even more shades.

Swatch Boots 17. Candy Pink Blush Drops

The 2nd recommendation is a super affordable blush by Boots’ own brand, 17. The 17. Blush Drops£4.50 in Candy Pink is a vibrant, pigmented, bold Barbie bubblegum pink shade. It has a pretty fast dry down, taking just a few seconds longer than the Huda Beauty to set. It didn’t set completely in my video below because I didn’t shake first, and I applied a thick amount for the swatch to show up. This blush formulation is pigmented, but it melts into the skin, and as the day goes on, it almost looks like a second skin, a lit-from-within blush from the cheeks like after a good workout. This is such an underrated formula and is super affordable at only £4.50 each. I love that there are 4 shades available. Candy Pink is the boldest, along with Burgundy Love.

Swatch Delilah Peony In Bloom Liquid Balm

My 3rd recommendation is the Delilah Cosmetics In Bloom Radiant Liquid Balm£24 in the shade Peony. This liquid formulation was my first favourite in a liquid gel form. I was kindly sent it a few years ago by Delilah Cosmetics, and repurchased this past winter. The shade Peony leans a slightly cool mauve compared to the other blushers shown, making this the most neutral of all the blushers I chose. Its shade is flattering on all undertones (I have applied it on friends and family with fair, cool and warm olive golden tones too). The formulation is pigmented but more blendable than the 17 blush drops. It has a light glow to it that just mimics a natural, healthy-looking radiance to the cheeks. This is the most natural-looking blush of this line-up and allows more time to blend and set.

Swatch Nudestix Cherry Blossom Babe Nudies Bloom

My 4th recommendation is the Nudestix Nudies Bloom£33 in Cherry Blossom Babe. This is the dewy blush of the bunch. Its texture is the thickest in cream form, and it doesn’t completely dry down. It does mean this doesn’t have the best staying power due to its dewier finish, but I prefer to layer a powder over top so my blush lasts all day! This is the only shade I’ve tried from the brand. I’ve been intending to try other shades but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Cherry Blossom Babe is a very fun mid-toned rosy pink that looks almost wet on the skin. If you are into wet, dewy-looking skin, you will love this. The only thing I don’t like is how grubby the packaging can get; it’s similar to Nars packaging, but always looks worse on camera.

Swatch Daniel Sandler Ischia Watercolour Liquid Blush

My Last summer 2025 blush recommendation is the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Liquid Blush in the shade Ischia from the Limited Edition Riviera Collection. I truly hope Daniel will make this shade a part of his permanent shade collection, as it’s fast becoming my favourite blush shade. I think of Ischia as the cooler sister of So Pretty. Before Ischia, Rose Glow was my favourite blush by Daniel. Rose Glow is labelled as an illuminator, but half the year, it suits me as a liquid blush. I have also enjoyed layering Rose Glow over the top of Ischia when I want more of a glow. I love the formulation of the Daniel Sandler watercolour blushers, favouring the shimmery finishes over the matte. I enjoy mixing the matte and shimmery formulations as they give a more youthful appearance to the cheeks; Just like with the 17 Blush drops, all DS Pigments need a good shake to activate the pigment evenly. Ischia is the boldest looking of the bunch, a fun and bright medium-toned pink with soft silver shimmer, but as you can see in this video, it looks very natural. So don’t be afraid of the bright shade. This formulation is water resistant, and once it sets down, it stays put all day!! You can read my full review here.
